WEST SEATTLE, Washington, September 19, 2009 (WSFB) – Water began falling from the sky late last night and the roads immediately became a slick and dangerous playground for operators of motor vehicles.
When water falls from the sky on dry road surfaces the oil and other lubricants haven’t been washed away and the result is an extremely dangerous driving surface that may cause you, your family, your neighbors, and other people in the community to die in a car crash with bodies entangled in steel and plastic requiring near-surgical extraction by the local Fire Department. Often times the crash will spark a blaze, with the smoke visible for miles as the vehicle melts before the eyes of onlookers.
Local transportation bloggers and government officials have asked the WSFB to get the word out to the general public: Drive Safe, Don’t Be a Douchebagâ„¢.
