Man Goes Crazy After Staring At Ken Griffey Jr Rookie Card For Too Long

kgjWEST SEATTLE, Washington, August 16, 2010 (WSFB) – A West Seattle man has gone “crazy” after staring at an Upper Deck Ken Griffey Jr rookie baseball card for too long, according to his wife.  The man, who decided to rummage through some old souvenirs, discovered the Griffey card late Friday evening and told his wife he was going to look up the value online prior to going to sleep.  When the victim’s wife woke the next morning she discovered her husband sitting in the same position she had seen him in the previous evening, staring intently into the baseball card.  When she asked if he was okay the man “let out a demonic howl” and claimed that he was the seventh son of the seventh son.  He then told his wife that the Griffey baseball card  told him to kill everybody and that he fully planned to do so after breakfast.  The woman promptly called the police and they transported the man to a West Seattle psychiatric medical center before he could carry out his promise.
