WEST SEATTLE, Washington, October 30, 2009 (WSFB) ““ Due to a plethora of injuries the entire Seattle Seahawks roster has been listed as a game time decision by coaches for this Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, team representatives report.
“With the amount of injuries we’ve seen this season we thought we’d be a little proactive and just list the entire team as a game time decision,” coach Jim Mora told the WSFB. “In fact we’ll probably end up listing the coaching staff as questionable, that’s how shitty our luck has been this year.”
Recent season ending injuries to tackle Walter Jones and middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu, as well as the rib injury to Matt Hasselbeck, has put the Seahawks season in jeopardy.
Even if the Seahawks were completely healthy the Dallas Cowboys offense and defense have been much improved in recent weeks, a large part of which can be credited to wide receiver Miles Austin and highly paid All Pro linebacker DeMarcus Ware.
“We’re seriously considering not even getting on the plane this week,” Mora said. “Miles Austin scares the ever loving shit out of our defensive backs, and DeMarcus Ware made Sean Locker piss his pants once.”
If the Seahawks don’t make it to Dallas this weekend the decision could then be made to have the Hawks join the St. Louis Rams on the physically unable to perform list, also known as the PUP list. Four other NFL teams, the Lions, Browns, Titans and Raiders have been placed on the PUP list this year so far by the NFL due to poor performance and overall shittiness.
