WEST SEATTLE, Washington, October 25, 2009 (WSFB) – Once a year the salmon return to the creek in Fauntleroy Park to spawn then die, their decaying corpses returning to the Earth as food and fodder.
This year the annual cycle takes an unusual twist.
Rock percussion legend Neil Peart will welcome the salmon back to Fauntleroy Creek with an hour long drum solo montage featuring some of his best works from the 30+ year anthology of his band, Rush.
With a huge catalog of hits such as “Tom Sawyer”, “Red Barchetta”, “YYZ”, and “Subdivisions”, there will be no shortage of choice licks from this master of the percussive instrument.
