WEST SEATTLE, Washington, September 28, 2009 (WSFB) – The community is invited to join fellow camping enthusiast Mayor Nickels for an evening of fun, food, campfire songs, and political protest at his North Admiral home in West Seattle.
The Mayor is an avid outdoors enthusiast and enjoys combining his love of the outdoors and connection to the urban wild with a twist of political advocacy.
A climbing wall has been erected in the Mayor’s front yard and several fire pits were installed on the lawn. Three cords of well-seasoned hardwood were delivered this afternoon and the coals are ready for roasting whole pigs, hot dogs, sausages, burgers, cornish game hens, duck, goose, lamb, and the delectable crowd pleaser – harbor seal.
Come join the fun – happening now – at the Mayor’s house, located in the North Admiral District of West Seattle.
Follow the sensual odor of baked harbor seal and prepare for a wonderful time!
