WEST SEATTLE, Washington, November 26, 2009 (WSFB) – For those who believe the Republican party is dead, just try to check out a copy of Michael Moore’s film Sicko from any Seattle Public Library and you will be reminded of their influence.
It has come to our attention that more than 50% of the available copies of Sicko have either been defaced or not returned in a timely manner which can mean only one thing; the far-right is trying to keep you from seeing one of the most ridiculously overblown and bloated films of all time.
“We’ve worked hard to check out every available copy of Sicko and have even gone so far as to draw a silly mustache on Michael Moore’s cover image,” says Bjeln Vendaarhobt of the West Seattle Republican Alliance. “After watching this film repeatedly, many of us have come to enjoy it as a blockbuster comedy and are hesitant to return it to the library.”
Sicko was released in June 2007 to limited critical acclaim and even more controversy as it compared the healthcare system of the United States against those in Canada, France, and the communist dictatorship of Cuba.
