WEST SEATTLE, Washington, August 18, 2009 (WSFBWCC): BREAKING NEWS! MUST CREDIT WEST SEATTLE FUN BLOG! – The West Seattle Fun Blog Correspondent is in hot pursuit of what is believed to be a rival blog attempting to steal several cases of our Fun.

In his usual morning sweep of the mean streets of White Center looking for any dropped stashes, this correspondent witnessed and photographed something almost to ghastly to talk about; namely, the attempted heist of a stockpile of Fun that the WSFB was keeping stockpiled near Big Al’s in case any half-drunken mobs of bicyclists needed to boost their Fun levels.

I am currently on foot, tailing the aforementioned forklift up and down the hills of North Highline.   The driver keeps shaking his fist at me and from his yelled comments I believe he may be very enamored of Alki Beach.

Who knew forklifts could drive so fast? More on this story as it develops…

UPDATE 8:56 am – The driver has fled on foot, being picked up by a late model Subaru Forester with an Obama/Biden bumper sticker, a bumper sticker professing their love of Alki Beach and another that says simply, “Leash Your Pooch”.   I have elected not to give chase, as I need to get these cases of Fun back to their stockpile area.   I think we may need to post a sentry here, as protecting the Fun is our sworn duty…
