WEST SEATTLE, Washington, October 28, 2009 (WSFB) - This just came in over the wire, chickens are loose on the West Seattle Golf Course green. It seems that a group of misfits have let loose about ten hens and five roosters and they are wreaking havoc in the sand trap near hole five.

A small crowd gathered around scratching their heads not sure what to think of the scene unfolding. When asked, Jacob Slimbottom said “these critters won’t let me get my ball, I wish the hooligans who let them loose would come and retrieve them”. Animal Control has been called and one “catcher” can be seen chasing after the squaking chickens with a net to no avail. Finally, a man that looked more like a seasoned fisherman than an animal control agent threw a large net over the lot and yelled “fried chicken for all! be back in two hours!”

Thanks to “Bubba” for a quick handling of the situation and for adding a little “stimulus” to us poor folks in West Seattle, that was the best chicken I’ve had in awhile. To you hooligans that released the chickens, keep em coming, we can use more impromptu dinners like tonight!
