WEST SEATTLE, Washington, November 03, 2009 (WSFB) – Team Funblog has reserved one of the few remaining lanes at the 11th annual Turkey Bowl, sponsored by Beer Church. The event is scheduled for Saturday November 21, 2009 and starts at 5:30PM (17:30).

This is not only a great opportunity to get out and meet new folks in the community but also to provide a community service.  The event is both a food drive and a fundraiser, with donations and proceeds going to the West Seattle Food Bank.

While many Funbloggers do not bowl, many do. Among our ranks are some of the top bowlers from the region. The non-bowling Funbloggers will provide enthusiastic drinkmanship and supportmanship for Team Funblog.

Funblog supporter Big Al’s Brewing is a sponsor / supporter of the event. Did we mention we’re huge fans of Big Al’s Winter Warmer ale? As a matter of fact, we’ll be quaffing pints of this deliriously deciduous confection this Thursday from 6:00PM – 9:00PM at Big Al’s Brewery in White Center.

Take a few minutes and peruse the Beer Church website, and make a donation to a worthy cause. It feels good and is a lot like going to church on Sunday, except with beer and stuff.
