| Other Info | Another great weekend of live music on tap at at The Shipwreck Tavern! Colby Imus and The Good Lieutenants - from their MySpace page: ".. Colby Imus and The Good Lieutenants bring together a diverse group of exceptional musicians and friends. Kodiak, Alaska native and current West Seattle resident Colby Imus (lead singer, guitar, theramin, and harmonica), takes a stand on his first solo album as singer/songwriter with "The Good Lieutenant". Spokane, WA native and current West Seattle resident Wade "Wilson" Peers(guitar, backing vocals), blends his heavy metal pedigree with unbridled rock 'n roll flawlessly. Trinidad native and current West Seattle resident Tim Romain (bass, backing vocals), has an extensive background from motown to punk and blends with the many faces of music “The Good Lieutenant” represents. Newcomer Brian Hamilton (drums), with a dynamic touch he strikes hard and fast, while maintaining a delicate edge." The Betty Ford Falcons, from their homepage: "Kind of like a cool version of an 80's rock band that supersedes its era by exploring and reprising the songs and sounds of punk, garage, grunge, and metal, with shoutouts to artists which might include Billy Squire, Pixies, Sex Pistols, and Ozzy. The lead singer belted out swell vocals somewhere between Bon Scott, Ian McKaye, and the masters of butt rock." - Milkcrate "A garagoid fastball coming straight out of the Rain City." - Sonic Netscape "Trash-Rock Charlatans! The Falcons are keeping rock alive with brutal CPR in Seattle." - Street Smarts" |
