How do get someone to just shut up? We have one friend in our group who knows everything. He is driving us all fucking crazy. I wish we could just not include him, but he is married to someone we do like.

I tried to raise my own kids with respect for all viewpoints and the inherent value of listening. That being said, we had one golden rule in our house. Duct tape fixes everything. The next time you have a get together, greet this gentleman with with a roll of tape, and a balled up pair of socks.
