I’m a local West Seattleite who takes great pride in patronizing local businesses, but I recently bought some dog food at the South Center Petco because I was in the area…..driving through.
Does this make me a Benedict Arnold of sort?

Dear Ben,
Moral dilemmas such as this are really out of my area of expertise. I’ve been informed on more than one occasion that I have no morals. Rather than harbor animosity towards these ignorant fucktards or try to correct them, I’ve chosen the easier path and now do whatever I want, whenever I want. Why I didn’t make this choice sooner, truly escapes me. Considering the needs of others or how my actions might affect them is so time consuming. Who needs that shit? You probably meant for this to be about you though. I’m not really in the mood, but whatever. You’re here and I’m here, so let’s do this.
I will try to be as kind as possible. Petco is a national, big box chain of retail stores, privately held and headquartered in San Diego, California. What that means in layman’s terms is NO! West Seattle does not know, and will never know, that you cheated on her. Your money safely went to the same location and you are needlessly worrying about a non-issue. Save this emotion for something truly deserving, like the plain brown packages you get in the mail, or those lost weekends in Vegas. With a new Hooters in South Park, a working woman in White center, and our perennial favorite, Stan’s adult super store, there is absolutely no reason for you to continue your high risk behavior in other neighborhoods. Now go feed your dogs, think about your priorities, and leave me the hell alone.
